Spruce Mountain Adult Education is proud to partner with SAPARS to provide free, confidential, and compassionate support for anyone affected by sexual violence.
Meet Shawna — our local advocate from SAPARS, serving Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford Counties. Shawna is available at Spruce Mountain Adult Education on the second Tuesday of every month from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. You’ll find her in the hallway with resources, information, and free giveaways. Stop by to say hello or connect with her about healthy relationships, boundaries, trauma, consent, or other personal concerns.
SAPARS offers a variety of free and confidential services:
- 24-hour Helpline and crisis support
- Support groups for survivors and loved ones
- School-based support and prevention education
- Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) coordination
- Community education and outreach
- Drop-in advocacy at local schools and health centers
- Children’s Advocacy Center for trauma-informed care
All services are free and confidential. SAPARS supports survivors, families, friends, and anyone impacted by sexual violence or trauma.
